LA is a city where denim reigns supreme, and with the weather warming up, my uniform requires a good pair of blue jeans. Since the lifestyle in LA is all about spending the day outdoors,my style tends to gravitate towards easy and effortless pieces. Whether that’s a stroll down the farmer’s market or furniture hunting at the Rose Bowl, a classic pair of blue jeans is a timeless safety piece and staple.
The off-shoulder blouse is my favorite, since the ruffle detail is playful and draws attention to the neckline. I paired it with 7 For All Mankind’s raw, asymmetric hem denim that masters the uncomplicated details of the “perfectly-undone” LA style.

One place I love to visit is Sunset Junction in Silver Lake. I love people-watching at Intelligentsia with an dirty chai in hand, and in the late afternoons, switch over to Cafe Stella for an Aperol Spritz. Silver Lake is a creative neighborhood packed with vintage shops, vegan restaurants and live music bars. On my visit there I wore a 7 For All Mankind tie-front striped tee –a classic modernized by its elbow-length wide sleeves – paired with a darker wash denim. The scene here is a lot more musically inclined and I love to play up to the elements with dark blue jeans.
