London is a city of juxtapositions. Its culturally rich history is evident anytime you pass one of its landmarks, but it is by no means a city that dwells on the past. It is one of the few places in the world where on arrival, you realize that every person you interact with has a unique story to tell, and often a perspective from a different part of the world. This international identity that London has cultivated is what makes it the perfect backdrop for Giorgio Armani’s second edition of Frames of Life. Frames of Life is a project that Armani created to promote emerging directors from 4 film schools selected across the globe. This year, Armani featured directors from film schools in São Paolo, Seoul, Sydney and Turin. The films featured city-inspired stories lensed through Armani glasses – in which the eyewear plays a pivotal role in the director’s narrative. Browse below on how I captured the in between moments during Frames of Life – and for your viewing pleasure, take a look at the films of city frames over on Armani.
