wicked as a joyride jaunt

T by Alexander Wang Sweater courtesy of Madison Los Angeles / Motel Leather Mini Skirt / Alexander Wang Liya Heels / Zara Bag / Bcbg Max Azria Watch

Feeling very “New York” decked out in big city staples like a thick Alexander Wang knit, a body con skirt and pointy pumps. Fashion month is only a few short weeks away, and for the sake of my greatest inconvenience the new semester kicks off as soon as Tradeshow season begins. A lot of you guys ask me how I balance both, but every season I find myself frantically trying to stay in classes by begging professors not to drop me for those absences all while justifying to myself what would be the opportunity cost, as I weigh in all the school work I need to complete when I return. I never understood why college semester always begins during fashion week. It metaphorically if not literally serves as two pathways in my life that both demand commitment with a compromise, and taking on any of the two options as a full time gig demands forfeiting one for the other. I guess only time will tell. Speaking of time, thankfully I now have a shiny new watch to look over in class. Big thanks to the amazing team at Bcbg for my latest wrist accessory!

I think you’ve done amazingly so far, in balancing your blog life and your college life. If nothing else, when you graduate you’ll be miles ahead of anyone who’s only spent their academic life in the library.

This maybe my favorite outfit of yours this year. It’s exactly what I’m feeling lately. That motel skirt is perfect, Alexander Wang is always a go to for me. Sucks about your schedule BUT at least your professors work with you. It’d really blow if they didn’t. Hope to see you again next month.
