First up on my New Zealand Fashion Week coverage: Stolen Girlfriends Club Fall/Winter 2013 Collection. Last night’s show unconventionally took place outside a parking garage set up with multicolored lights and strobes on every column, giving me deja vu of the underground raves and punk concerts I used to go to as a freshman in high school. It was definitely one of the more fun and edgier collections of the season, with a great mix of a 90′s resurge full of body con, leather, camouflage prints and baseball caps. As if things couldn’t get any cooler the models wore their hair wet and slick back with the type of fluoro eyeshadow that doesn’t remind you of the 80′s. Another brilliant execution from the one and only SGC. Two big fat thumbs up to Marc and Dan.
