Greetings from New Zealand! Now forgive me for drooling over the screen, but I can’t help but share some of the welcome treats that I arrived to after checking into my room here at The Sofitel Hotel in Auckland. The International Delegates Welcome Breakfast took place on Tuesday morning and was a perfect kick off for the New Zealand Fashion Week activities that laid ahead–meeting with our minders, catching up with new and old friends, and the highlight of them all, catching New Zealand’s designers release their collections from the front row. This brief hello is just a taste (har har) of what lays ahead, and I’m thrilled to be able to share it all with you. But for now, I’m off to rest my head before another full day of fashion week coverage. So much more coming up next!

The Sofitel is lovely isn’t it? I stayed there the other week for work – unfortunate about the staff’s dreary uniform though! The only thing that is un-classy about it!
Their breakfasts are devine.
