If you could envision a city with sleek, Art Deco architecture scattered with tourists dressed to the nines and European-turned Miami locals walking around South Beach’s best hotel lobbies, this place is it. There is a tendency in blogging to over-glorify events in ways to make everything sound…wonderful, but this situation is not one of them. My trip to Miami Swim week has truly been a first class experience, all thanks to Bal Harbour Shops, Sofitel, and the memorable (and some favorably forgettable) experiences with my friends over at Socialyte.Whether it’s arriving at the Sofitel with a new treat (macarons, wine, or fresh orchids), or taking advantage of the non-stop flow of Moët at the Soho House, or just laughing our heads off in the van alongside Krystal, Laura, Erika, Jenni, Blake, Daniel and Rebecca, Miami Swim Week has set a high bar for future trips to South Florida. But now onto the details:
