I couldn’t have dreamed up a better pair of boyfriend jeans than this number from Citizens of Humanity. I visited their offices a few days before my departure for New York, and I had the best time simply trying on all the different styles their showroom had to offer. Even though the denim industry has never gone away, I feel like the blue jean culture is making another great comeback. I’ve only been a consumer of premium denim for a few years, but I’ve always felt that growing up, there was only one type of denim available on the market…and it was the blue jean in a boot cut. Two styles that when combined, never fails to remind me of the Britney Spears era. Let’s just say I’m so glad to embrace all the novelty and throwback denim that brands like Citizens has to offer.
